Since the Kortz Center Heist update landed on July 14, 2026, the Benefactor LRC GT has been hard to ignore. It costs GTA$2,650,000, which is enough to make most players pause before hitting the button. If you're weighing it up after a big grind or looking to buy GTA 5 Money for a new garage project, this isn't just another car bought for one quick drive. The LRC GT feels built for people who actually want to learn a vehicle rather than point it down the motorway and call it a day.
Speed matters, but the lap tells the better story. On paper, 130.00 mph and a 0:58.275 tested lap are serious numbers for a regular Super-class car. The six-speed, rear-wheel-drive setup also gives it a different feel from the safer all-wheel-drive choices. You notice it early on. Turn in too hot, stamp on the throttle, and the rear can start moving around. That's not necessarily a flaw. It means the car asks for decent braking and smoother exits. On long roads it carries speed well, but it doesn't magically fix a bad line through a tight corner. Players who like a car with a bit of attitude will probably get on with it. Players who want something that forgives every clumsy input may not.
The jammer makes it useful outside races. The Missile Lock-On Jammer is a big part of the LRC GT's appeal, especially in public lobbies where an expensive supercar can become a target in seconds. It won't turn the thing into an armored truck. Manual weapons, crashes and determined players are still problems. Still, losing missile lock gives you a chance to keep moving and get out of the area. That changes how often you'll take the car out. Without the jammer, it would mainly be a race-day machine or a garage ornament. With it, the LRC GT works for cruising between businesses, meeting friends, or simply getting across Los Santos without feeling like you've brought a fragile toy.
It's a purchase for drivers, not flippers. The car's endurance-racing shape already does most of the visual work, so it doesn't need every cosmetic option thrown at it. A clean paint job and a focused build suit it better than a pile of mismatched parts. More importantly, don't buy one expecting an easy escape route if you change your mind. The high-end resale restrictions mean the first sale can be capped at GTA$500,000, with later sales potentially dropping even further. That's a painful loss on a GTA$2.65 million car. Newer players should probably keep their cash for income-producing properties and equipment. Experienced racers, though, may find the LRC GT earns its place through how often they actually drive it.
A strong pick if you'll use the whole package. The LRC GT isn't the answer to every race or every kind of player, and it doesn't need to be. Its real strength is that the performance, rear-driven handling and anti-lock-on option all fit together. It rewards practice, looks right in a serious collection, and has enough free-roam protection to leave the garage regularly. If you've got the funds, spending Grand Theft Auto 5 Money on it makes sense when you want one car that can race, travel and still feel interesting after the first week. Just give it the respect its braking demands, and it'll give you plenty back.
